Margie is in long-term recovery and serves as a Peer Recovery Coach in Weber County. Her recovery journey began on September 1, 2003, and she remains actively engaged in 12-step mutual aid recovery.

From early in her journey, Margie embraced a strong belief in an all-pathways approach to recovery. Today, she maintains a well-rounded self-care plan centered on wellness, balance, and continued service to the recovery community. She has contributed her time and experience by serving on various service committees and supporting local nonprofit organizations.

In her free time, Margie enjoys crocheting beanies, which she donates to shelters and community organizations, as well as gifting to friends and family. She also finds joy in creating art and reading mystery novels. Deeply passionate about service, Margie is committed to giving back what was so freely given to her when she first entered the recovery community.
