Rosa Martinez is a woman in active recovery. Her first step in recovery started here at USARA participating in Family Fun Nights with her children. After starting to feel comfortable asking for help and having a community of support that she could safely rely on, the idea that sobriety was possible became a reality. Rosa diligently works on maintaining her sobriety by practicing an attitude of gratitude, taking a daily inventory of self, reading and expanding her knowledge, setting small goals and taking the next step in her recovery.

Rosa intends to help others accomplish their goals in recovery, as she was helped in hers. Rosa believes in good deeds going a long way and paying it forward, she wants to dispense that extra boost of encouragement and be a helping hand of assistance and support that guided her to happiness in recovery.
